Here is my shameless plug requesting the chance to do something that I've wanted to do for years. I want to be paid to try out stuff! Mostly gadgets: phones, tablets, smart watches, etc. I would LOVE to do that as a hobby, or for a living.
My work provided me with a MacBook and an iPad. And I found that when you are good at something and you love it, you can convince others to get it. Such is the case with someone I was neighbors with. They ended up purchasing an iPad because of the things I was able to do with it, and my overall geeky love of the thing. I've tried my hand at sales, but this is one area I don't think I would have any trouble selling. If I love a gadget, it emanates from me. Sometimes a bit more than people ask for. But hey, I won't apologize for getting excited about something cool.
So if you have a gadget, and you want someone like me to try it out and give an honest review, I'm the man for the job. Just sayin'.
I have been thinking about the phrase "what's in a name?" I chose the name "Mr. Hint's Blog" because of my own last name. I always joke with someone who had forgotten my last name, "I'll give you a hint." As a result, and because I want to expand my vision a little, I thought I would collect my own hints about whatever here on my own blog. I still have a place for tutorials and reviews but I now have a place for just about anything I desire to write about.
I grew up with a sincere love of music, and a genuine curiosity of gadgets, gizmos and other general electronics. This, coupled with a religious upbringing, has the makings of smorgasbord of all kinds of ideas. I don't profess to be the expert in any subject. But I would say I have a unique perspective on life and things.
I thank you for visiting my fledgling site and hope to see you around more in the future. Adiós.
