You know how awkward it is sometimes to start a conversation? I mean, I'm sure you know the feeling:
"Hello" "Hello" "Strange weather we've been having." And then if you can't think of anything else to say after the affirmative response, you say something like, "okay, see ya." That's what I feel like starting a blog. I felt a great deal of achievement and excitement writing my first post of this newly conceived blog, and now I'm like: "uh..." Well, you get the picture. I feel like I'm a fairly unique individual with great things to offer, but life sometimes offers very little fuel for creative posting. I could always share about an app that I really like lately, or a little about my family life, or I could talk about some of the things that have been going on in the world. And, come to think of it, those are all very good ideas. But I also want to know what you would like me to blog about. If you have any suggestions of things that you would like me to write about, please comment below. Thanks for reading.

Here is my shameless plug requesting the chance to do something that I've wanted to do for years. I want to be paid to try out stuff! Mostly gadgets: phones, tablets, smart watches, etc. I would LOVE to do that as a hobby, or for a living.
My work provided me with a MacBook and an iPad. And I found that when you are good at something and you love it, you can convince others to get it. Such is the case with someone I was neighbors with. They ended up purchasing an iPad because of the things I was able to do with it, and my overall geeky love of the thing. I've tried my hand at sales, but this is one area I don't think I would have any trouble selling. If I love a gadget, it emanates from me. Sometimes a bit more than people ask for. But hey, I won't apologize for getting excited about something cool. So if you have a gadget, and you want someone like me to try it out and give an honest review, I'm the man for the job. Just sayin'.
I have been thinking about the phrase "what's in a name?" I chose the name "Mr. Hint's Blog" because of my own last name. I always joke with someone who had forgotten my last name, "I'll give you a hint." As a result, and because I want to expand my vision a little, I thought I would collect my own hints about whatever here on my own blog. I still have a place for tutorials and reviews but I now have a place for just about anything I desire to write about.
I grew up with a sincere love of music, and a genuine curiosity of gadgets, gizmos and other general electronics. This, coupled with a religious upbringing, has the makings of smorgasbord of all kinds of ideas. I don't profess to be the expert in any subject. But I would say I have a unique perspective on life and things. I thank you for visiting my fledgling site and hope to see you around more in the future. Adiós. |
